Donating to Habitat KC ReStore
When you donate to ReStore, you help create a robust inventory of products, keep unwanted items out of landfills, and support Habitat KC’s mission. It’s a win-win-win!
There are so many reasons to give your local ReStore the items you no longer need or want. We accept donations from individuals, businesses, contractors, and suppliers.
What can I donate to ReStore?
We accept donations of new and gently used appliances, household furniture and residential building supplies. With a few exceptions, we look for items that you would find in a “big box” home improvement store that we determine will sell in our retail stores.
Drop off your donation
ReStore accepts drop-off donations of new and gently used items based on our Donation Guidelines.
We are open Monday through Friday from 9 am – 6 pm, Saturday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Donation drop-offs end one hour before closing. There are four ReStore KC locations throughout the Kansas City metro area accepting donations six days a week.

If your donation is too big or bulky to drop off, we’ll pick it up for free. Use our online scheduler to plan your donation pick-up or call us, (816) 231-6889 option two, and we’ll schedule a pick up for you.
