In 2019, Sophia Watson was looking for a fresh start for her family. For years she was forced to rent places where she didn’t feel safe and often worried someone would break into their home while they slept. These unsafe housing options were all she could afford as a sole provider for her family.
But now, after completing 350 sweat equity hours and signing an affordable mortgage, Sophia has built a safe, affordable place for her two daughters and grandchild to call home. A place where she’ll no longer worry while they sleep. A place that is entirely theirs where they will make new memories for years to come.
