Group Build Days
Take a day out of the office and spend it in the community! One Tuesday a month is designated as a Group Build Day, specially designed for groups to come together for a day of morale building and home building with Habitat for Humanity Kansas City. This combination of volunteer hours and a financial donation doubles your group’s impact toward our mission of providing affordable home-ownership opportunities in Kansas City.
No construction skills or tools are required; each person just brings their own gloves and our staff will train, supervise, and provide the rest. An outline of a typical day is below, as well as suggested donation amounts. By the end of the day, your group will be connected with other and with the community in a truly unique way. The satisfaction that comes from working with your hands will leave your group motivated and exhilarated!
