Logistics Supervisor
Full-time: 40 hours per week

Job Summary: The logistics supervisor will ensure every caller receives prompt, professional, courteous service and accurately screen and efficiently schedule donation collections. This role is the liaison between the affiliate and current and potential donors. Individual will possess a pleasant nature over the phone. Fifty percent of the time, outbound calls will be made to business, following the affiliate’s communication and messaging scripts.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that phones are properly answered during core business hours.
- Respond to voicemail messages within 24 hours.
- Schedule appointments to ensure maximum number of donors are scheduled each day.
- Maintain accurate records of donors/businesses contacted and appointments scheduled to avoid errors, poor customer relations and to ensure sufficient donor availability.
- Understand affiliate services, and policies.
- Works to ensure the economics of the pick work.
- Work collaboratively with all other logistics staff in a team environment.
- Work collaboratively with marketing manager on outbound messaging
- Manage a team of 4-6 logistics team members including truck drivers and driver assistants
- Manage in-house fulfillment
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Able to set priorities and manage time effectively
- Excellent verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and QuickBooks.
- Adaptability and accountability.
- Ability to distinguish transactional business from life time value donors.
- Scheduling experience is a plus.
- Bilingual ability is helpful, but not necessary.
Qualifications, Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years supervisory experience or equivalent combination of experience, education and training.
- Minimum of one year administrative or secretarial experience.
- General knowledge of building materials and home improvement a plus.
Physical Requirements Necessary to Perform This Job:
- Regular office environment with exposure to moderate noise.
- Work onsite within ReStore retail environment locations and offices.
- Ability to work and manage onsite events, which may be at HFH construction sites.
- Outside events, meetings and presentations may be required. Some evening and week-end meetings may be required.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Requires manual labor and construction duties and use of tools.

Individual may be required to sit or stand as needed. The position may require walking primarily on a level surface at various times throughout the day. The individual may reach above shoulder heights or below the waist or lift as required to file documents, store materials or move materials on the job site throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques are required. Individual may be subject to intermittent moderate noise levels.
