“Home means family, love, stability, structure and safety. It means a plan. It’s moving forward, not backward, in our lives. It means a future.”

Jennifer, a health care worker in Kansas City, wants to give her four children the life she never had growing up—to provide them with safety and security in a home and not on the streets.

You know Jennifer. She’s a strong and determined mother who cares for you at Swope Health, and she’s a Habitat homeowner.

“The kids are looking forward to having their own rooms.
It’s something they’ve never dreamed of having.”
— Jennifer Howard

Marlon is a church custodian who loves exploring his community with his children to learn the history of Kansas City. And he’s a Habitat homeowner.

“My kids are super excited. They’ll have their own space, and nobody is going to take it. It gives them freedom. It gives them the chance to even have dreams.”

As a Jackson County Family Court worker, Jermonica provides guidance and stability to young children during a time of crisis. And she’s a Habitat homeowner.

“When I built my home, I built a stable place for myself and my children. I’m proud that through my work, I can help provide stability to children in our community too.”

When you support Habitat KC, you’re supporting people who are a vital part of our community, like the custodian at your church, the driver who takes you to the airport, the clerk at your grocery store and the nurse at your doctor’s office.

Right now, 16 parents are working with us to build safe and stable homes for their families. Donate today to help build stronger futures for 47 Kansas City children.
