House of Abraham

Promoting interfaith cooperation and understanding among the Jewish, Christian, and Muslim communities of the Kansas City metro area.

Together, we’re building stronger, safer communities.

Established in 2003 by the Jewish, Christian, and Muslim communities of the Kansas City metro area, Habitat KC’s House of Abraham initiative works to promote interfaith dialogue and cooperation among area faith communities while working together to fulfill our mission.

Originally, the House of Abraham committee built one house every other year but since 2018 has been committed to building or renovating one home for a Habitat family every year.

Are you ready to build with us?

Your support of House of Abraham provides the two resources that are needed in order to construct a Habitat for Humanity of Kansas City home – funds and volunteer labor.

The funds raised through sponsorships are utilized to purchase the necessary building materials including lumber, siding, drywall and paint.  In addition to contributing funds, sponsors are invited to provide teams of volunteers to help build this year’s House of Abraham home.

Use the form below to contact Jude Huntz, Outreach Manager, with any questions on how you can best support our mission.
