Together, we’re building stronger, safer communities.

Habitat KC brings local faith communities together to raise walls, roofs, funds, and prayers in partnership with families in the Kansas City community.

Building with Habitat KC gives people of all faiths an opportunity to step outside their place of worship, join together and create a community of compassion through service.

Thrivent Build

Thrivent Build is an effort to bring local Christian churches together to build a home with a Kansas City family in need of a safe, affordable place to call home. This year we will build a home in the Wendell Phillips Neighborhood of Kansas City, MO, beginning in July 2021.

House of Abraham

Established in 2003 by the Jewish, Christian, and Muslim communities of the Kansas City metro area, Habitat KC’s House of Abraham initiative promotes interfaith dialogue and cooperation among area faith communities while working together to fulfill our mission.

The House of Abraham committee is committed to funding one home each year for a local Kansas City family.

Use the button below to support this year’s build week, Oct. 5 – 9. Each day we begin with coffee and conversation to promote interfaith relationship building. Lunch will also be provided to all volunteers.
