are making a difference, one house at a time.
Just because they're called landfills doesn't mean we need to fill them up. Don't throw it away - let us put it to good use! Habitat ReStore accepts both new and used building materials and furniture that are in good, usable condition.
YOU CAN DONATE TO RESTORE...
If it’s in good enough condition to give to a friend or relative, or it’s something your contractor would reuse, it’s probably good enough to donate.

1. Drop off your items during donation hours at any of our five ReStore locations.
MONDAY – FRIDAY: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
SATURDAY: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
2. We have free pickup for items too big or bulky to drop off. Click on the button below to schedule your online donation pickup or call us direct and we can schedule a pickup for you, (816) 231-6889.
WHAT MATERIALS DO WE ACCEPT?
We accept donations of new and gently used residential building supplies and household furniture that we determine will sell in our retail store. With a few exceptions, we look for items that you would find in a “big box” home improvement or home furnishing store.

Materials must be reusable:
Must be made for use in (or can easily be used directly in) residential or light commercial construction, improvement, or maintenance or furnishing by the common homeowner or small business owner.
Structurally sound & complete:
Must be complete, intact, sturdy and free of major damage.
Must be able to do what it was made to do. It needs to be ready to work “off the shelf” without any repair.
The item must be appealing for reuse “as is” in another person’s home, something you’d give to friends or family.
Our trained staff must determine that the item will sell in our store.
