Development Coordinator

Part Time: 20-25 hours per week

Primary Team Leader: Development Manager

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt/Eligible for prorated vacation, sick, holiday accrual

Job Summary: The Part-time Development Coordinator will support with managing the agency database system. Duties include grant research, data entry, reporting, donor acknowledgment as well as general office and clerical work.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the process of entering all donor and gift information accurately
  • Maintain donor data entry for gift records and pledges, so that processing, tracking, reporting, and acknowledgment of gifts are performed in an accurate and timely fashion
  • Maintain consistent and timely donor gift receipting and donor acknowledgment
  • Generate and mail donor acknowledgment letters
  • Assist with individual giving programs including direct mail, holiday mailings, etc.
  • Pull data for mailing lists, solicitations, annual reports, events, and other donor mailings
  • Assist with grant research as needed
  • Create and generate donor reports/queries as needed
  • Contribute to monthly donor newsletters/outreach pieces
  • Assist with fund development activities as assigned

General Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • A minimum of two years of non-profit administrative experience
  • Prior experience with Etapestry database preferred
