Volunteer Training

All individual volunteers & group leaders are required to attend; we ask group leaders to then share the information with the rest of their group members.  While at orientation, you will be asked to complete an application. If you’d like, you can download this document in advance on the “forms and resources” page in this section.  Orientations are held several times a month on Saturday afternoons and Tuesday evenings. You can check our calendar for upcoming orientation dates, but we can only fit a certain number of people in each session so we ask you to sign up with the volunteer department at least 24 hours in advance.

All construction volunteers should also take this online safety training. It takes about 30 minutes, including a quiz to verify that you understand the information. When you pass, a certificate is emailed to our volunteer dept. and we will soon begin requiring this training before allowing you on site.
