Habitat is a true gem in our community. It represents what partnerships and giving back to the community means when people come together and work toward a common cause. Building houses, providing housing, teaching about home ownership and the value it provides to the community as a whole cannot be matched. Every time I help Habitat – rather it’s on a build site or raising funds – I walk away with an overwhelming sense of satisfaction. And, that is what volunteering is about.
